The Hive player supports a wide range of media formats and codecs, making it flexible for different types of projects.

Supported Codecs:​

  • H.265 (HEVC)
  • H.264
  • Avolites AIM Codec
  • NOTCH_LC
  • PNG, JPEG, BMP

We recommend using H.265 for optimal performance and quality.

Encoding for Player_1/2/3/4:​

  • Codec: H.265
  • Target Bitrate: 100-240 Mbps
  • Profile: Main
  • Keyframe Distance: 1

Encoding for Hive BeeBlade/BeeBox:​

  • Codec: H.265
  • Target Bitrate: 200-800 Mbps
  • Profile: Main
  • Keyframe Distance: 1
