So you just got your Hive Player?

Let's start by setting it up!

You can set up your Hive Player in two different network modes: DHCP or Static.

DHCP Mode

When using DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), your Hive Player automatically receives an IP address from your network's DHCP server. This mode is generally recommended for most users, as it simplifies setup and automatically assigns IPs as needed.

Static Mode

In Static mode, you manually assign an IP address to the Hive Player. This approach is useful if you want consistent IP addresses across your network or require advanced networking configurations. Ensure that the static IP does not conflict with other devices on your network.
