Beginning his career at M&M Lighting in the early 90s before later taking on influential roles at ETC Europe and DHA, Nigel experimented with unconventional lighting methods, including early work with video projectors, which resulted in the creation of the renowned Green Hippo product, Hippotizer.
In the early 2000s, Nigel officially joined the team at Green Hippo, further innovating the media server field across his various roles. It was during this time that he first met Dave Green & Mark Calvert, who would later go on to co-found Hive, with Trey Harrison.
With a passion for storytelling and simplifying the complex technology behind creative video, Nigel continues to drive forward Hive’s vision of democratising the media engine market.
